I can only speak for myself, but as a thirty two year old who regularly plays Runescape, I would say that there are few computer games which give the same satisfaction as a MMORPG. I love the longevity of the game, the fact that it constantly evolves, the challenges and the rewards.
As to the age consideration, well I've been playing computer games since as far back as I can remember, way back in the 70's and 80's on a variety of Dragon, Sinclair, Commodore, Amstrade and BBC computers to name but a few.
I love playing a really well thought out game and I must say in all honesty the only serious flaw with Runescape is the juvenile attitude of the people playing it. Bearing in mind Jagex does have a minimum age policy for Runescape, I don't really have a problem with people of any age wanting to play Runescape, but remember, you only get out what you put in. When I see players roaming around asking for or usually demanding 3000 coins, the fabled "free stuff please" cry and when this isn't forthcoming, venting a string of invective, I do think they must be pretty immature.
So I hope this answers the question, although I would have thought anyone with a sense of enjoyment of a computer game and a tiny amount of thought, who enjoys playing Runescape or similar games, wouldn't need to ask it in the first place.
It's not just about RuneScape. It's about all kinds of games and activities. Some games and activities become like drugs for some people - they become addicting. Medical research has shown that becoming addicted to something like a game has the same characteristics as being addicted to drugs - you're drawn towards it, it pumps certain chemicals through your brain whenever you play it that cause you to want to come back and play it even more, and you usually think you can't live without playing a game or doing a certain activity.
To play RuneScape you have to be 13 or older. Of course loads of people play when they are younger regardless.
No, Jagex has not released an event for members (more-so veterans) to play on the older RuneScape, however, they've held a few events for members to play on the classic version of RuneScape.
== == In most schools, RuneScape is blocked because one must be 13 years of age or older to play and anything can happen on the web, especially while interacting with other people you do not know. There are some schools that allow RuneScape to be played. To find out if your school allows RuneScape, ask a teacher in charge.
RuneScape Classic is an addition to the original game where veteran members have a change to play older versions. The game requires RuneScape membership.
Harry Potter used to play RuneScape.
There may be certain celebs out there that play Runescape, but names of which are confidential.
Over 135 million people play runescape, so you're not alone.
Silly question, loads of people play Runescape.
A lot more people play World of Warcraft than Runescape. It is a more populated website.
Some people, as they get older, get tired of playing games like RuneScape. Some people don't. I guess Qing Xu (whoever that is) just got tired of it. RuneScape may be a fun game at first but it gets boring when you level up too slowly.
There is currently a Runescape 2 and it is a popular MMORPG. You can play it at the website www.runescape.com. It is a F2P (Free to play) and P2P (Pay to play). There was originally Runescape 2, but they renamed runescape 1 "Runescape Classic" and named runescape 2 just "runescape". Runescape classic is runescape 1. Runescape is runescape 2, but they dont call it 2, well most people dont, they just call it runescape. Ricco119
Of course people can go on Runescape, you can't go into it lol but you can play it if that is what you mean.
