Not all Samoans leave Samoa for medical help. There are 3 hospitals in Samoa and most of the population are treated there when necessary. Those who do chooose to travel overseas for medical help are usually the people who are 1) in a better position financially do so and 2) cannot receive their specific type of medical treatment in Samoa due to a number of reasons.
