I am assuming you're using "Settler Jew" as the term for a person from Israel who moved to Palestine. Going from there...

1. In the 5700+ years of recorded Jewish history, a nation called Palestine has only existed for a few years. "Palestine" was the name for much of the region we call "the Middle East" today. To a citizen of Israel who knows their history, a nation named Palestine is an abomination and should not exist.

2. A "Palestinian Jew," therefore, cannot exist either.

Answer BI doubt that the recorded history of Jews comes back to 5700+ years as above. The prophet of the Jews is Moses and he was born in Egypt. His birth in Egypt was less than 3000 years ago. Jews left Egypt to Palestine in the time of Prophet David well after this time.

The saying that Palestine is called on the currently called Middle East is historically not true and is just politically claimed as such to diffuse the Palestinian rights in their lands or at least part of it.

What were the difficulties the Jews had living in Israel?

The Jews STILL live there, and they still have difficulties. The biggest problem is the situation with the Palestinian Territories. The Israelis require the Palestinians to recognize them as a state in order to gain independence, but the Palestinians refuse. On the Other hand, The Palestinians, want full control over the old city of Jerusalem, and the Israelis refuse. The Palestinian Authority has repeatedly stated that it will not recognize or deal with Israel. But another complication there is that all of the power, water, and cell phone service in the Territories come from Israel. In order for Israel to give complete independence, it would have to stop supplying the Palestinians with electricity and water, which they just can't do.
