Why do Volkswagen Golf Mk4 left hand headlight lamps keep blowing?

Try replacing both lamps at the same time w/ new. If this problem persists check both grounds on the lights for a bad connection, remember to net touch the glass of the halogen insert also make sure not to brush it up against anything as all of this can cause them to fail. Check for moisture in the housing as this will cause a light to fail also.
