Supervisors will remove any post which is offensive, inflammatory, flippant, nonsense or simply the wrong answer, this returns the question to an 'unanswered' area of the site, to await a better answer.
"Where are you located?" is not an easy question for any website to answer, especially for this one. As one WikiAnswers Contributor wrote: "[WikiAnswers] has no physical location. It is entirely virtual. Hence, it's only location is http://wiki.answers.com The company that owns WikiAnswers, Answers.com, has its headquarters in Jerusalem, Israel, and an office in New York. WikiAnswers Supervisors are based across the US, in the UK, Australia and Canada, and a handful elsewhere in the world.
There are thousands of supervisors spread across the site. We are entitled to remove someone's answer if it (a) doesn't actually answer the question, (b) is insulting (c) is complete nonsense or (d) encourages readers to engage in illegal activities.
Sometimes questions are so poorly worded, a supervisor can only make a wild guess at to what the asker had in mind when they wrote it. Otherwise, it could possibly be a trashed question. Someone begging for goods or services might find the question trashed into 'Inappropriate Subject Matter' - Wikianswers is not a place to beg people for things.
WikiAnswers visitors ask questions. You wrote this one! :-)
Yes, some of the answers on WikiAnswers are mean. We cannot help that. If you believe that an answer is mean and hurtful, simply delete it with your replacement answer, or contact a Supervisor if it is really rude or is containing bad language and perhaps the Supervisor can contact the user who wrote the mean answer and let them now that this kind of language and answering techniques are not accepted in WikiAnswers.
If you want to remove every answer that you wrote and do not want your user name (or ID) to appear as the one who made the last edit to an answer to a question, ask a supervisor to get rid of your answers for you. The supervisor will only get rid of your answers if they are invalid as an answer to the question, and will not get rid of the answer if it is a good answer.
You may want to ask this on Yahoo Answers (or better yet stay here and ask and answer questions on WikiAnswers instead of Yahoo Answers :-) I would guess that since you are the one who wrote the answer Yahoo is giving you the ability to edit or delete it, but is not giving you the ability to edit or delete other people's answers.
Sometimes questions are changedIf the meaning of the question was unclear,If the spelling or the grammar needed fixing,If there was another question that was asking exactly the same thing,If there are rude or slang words in the question that not everyone might understand. But when a question is changed, it should always be asking the same as the original question . Sometimes supervisors make mistakes, so it is fine to ask them, or another supervisor, in a polite way, why the question was changed. You can do this on their message boards.
Remove the ' from your question, you wrote "how do you delete a folder and all it is apps in it at once". You don't need the apostrophe.

To answer questions, especially stupid ones like the one you just wrote. Numbskull.
