They don't. Uranus spins on a "sideways" axis with retrograde spin. Venus also

has a retrograde spin. Most spin in the same direction though. This is probably

because of how the Solar System was formed, from a spinning disc of material.

All orbiting the same way. The milky Way Galaxy spirals again in the same circular orbit direction. I too wondered why does everything spin, rotate, orbit, in the same direction. Like a lot of science, This is only a theory, The theory I find that makes sense to me, is atoms and electrons spin in this way, If this spin conserves momentum, then our solar system, and galaxy, and all other galaxy's in the universe will spin the same. An interesting thought?
