When you ask that question, you are probably thinking of the animals you love most, probably the ones you find cute or beautiful and like most human beings, you adore beautiful things. If it is a case where you also love animals that aren't cute but aren't necessarily repulsive, then they probably display signs of happiness or love because they have been raised properly and treated well by a human being and so they will most likely express their love for all human beings when they see one or until they realize that you are kind to it.
