Scientist study the spectra of stars using an instrument called a spectroscope. A spectroscope spreads light into different wavelengths. By using these spectroscopes astronomers can study stars characteristics( temperatures, compositions and energies).
Spectroscopy is used in astronomy to learn what is happening in stars etc. By studying electromagnetic waves radiated from nuclei, one can learn a lot about the shape and activity of a nucleus. This helps us understand why certain reactions in stars happen. It is also used to identify nuclei. Every nucleus is has a unique decay scheme, which is always the same, eg some nucleus decaying to a ground state via a 200keV gamma ray, will be observed in all nuclei of the same mass and proton number.
If these gamma rays are observed, this means 12C is present
A spectroscope is used for understanding faint light that comes from stars and other celestial bodies. It helps us find out chemical compesitions and light from space.
the spectroscope is used to study the elements of a star or stellar object in space!your welcomeanonomus
an astronomer can identify elements in the atmosphere of a star.
To find out exactly what is in a particular star or other object in space, and the relative proportion of each component.
composition of stars, radio signals from space, and surface temperatures

Spectrograph.
Astronomers help because they can help measure the time, or what day it is for the caravans.
Astronomers invented the sun dial. They could help by assisting the caravans with their time managements and how many hours they had until the night came.
India astronomers recognized that the earth was a sphere.

Spectrograph.
Primarily, it's spectrum (it's light seen through a spectrograph).
The star is moving away fro where it is. ~Justine... :))
The elemental composition of the materiel forming the spectrum.
A spectroscope is used to diffuse the light from a star into its spectrum, so that astronomers can analyze the elements that make up the star. The same sort of instrument can be used to analyze the elemental composition of ANYTHING; for terrestrial uses, the instrument is called a spectroGRAPH.
A spectrograph is an instrument for chemical analysis.
They use a spectrograph to pass light through a prism to break it the light waves into its constituent colors. Then by looking at what colors are missing they can determine both the temperature and composition of the star.
what is difference between mass spectrograph and mass spectrum
Distance.
Telescopes focus on certain objects that are not visible from the naked eye, they help astronomers develop new theories because they are able to see more, and they are instruments that help astronomers prove theories true/false.
