Why do bald eagles need protection?

The real question is which one should we save?

Seriously, saving the bald eagle, or any endangered species is a fine idea. Creating false endangered species though makes the issue are more complex then it should be.

Polar bears, as an example are on the increase. Why make them endangered when they clearly are not.

Keep up the pressure on the Government to keep the eagle protected. The bald eagle is no longer an endangered species, and hopefully never will be again. We also have to stop hunting them!!

The Bald Eagle is the national symbol of the United States, a former endangered species, and a magnificent animal. Any one of those reasons is good enough for me.
