There is no definite answer to this question. It more of a science fact that has yet to be explained in full depth. Because white is the presence of all colors, it reflects all the light. Whereas black, the opposite color, would induce an opposite affect by absorbing all the light. This is why it isn't possible to have a flashlight that emits black rays.
