I don't have an answer yet, so anything anyone can offer is appreciated. I would like to share though what I have done so others can do the same if desired: call the dealership and have them enter the issue in your file. Call the Jeep Corporate Service Line: 1 800 992 1997 to submit the problem...it might help to get a recall on the issue. Also, call the National Highway & Traffic Safety to submit the problem and receive a formal report from them to sign and return to the Nat High & Traffic Safety: 800 424 9393. Has anyone else had this problem with their lights? It's a serious safety issue that I hope is a recall soon so it's not an expense for the auto owners!
Geezzz.....I had to pay extra for that option. (sorry, couldn't help the remark) It seems apparent that you have a wiring problem in the steering column and that it can be repaired by taking the plastic off and straightening out the wires.....not as easy as it sounds of course. You have a broken wire in the column, or a wire pulled out of the connector for the dimmer switch.
The low beams turn off when you switch to high beams. If the lights don't work with the high beams on either both high beams are blown or the high beam circuit has problems and you'll need to figure them out.
I'm guessing your stereo is aftermarket. If so, then whoever installed it did it wrong or tried something tricky.
It will bolt in. The head on the 2001 does not have the same hole location for the temperature sensor. Also both manifolds are different.
The engine might if they are both 4.0's. That would be about it.
It's the same engine in both.
If your grandmother is Cherokee Indian and her mother was also, but her father was Chinese, that makes you both Cherokee Indian and Chinese. You are a combination of the ethnicity of those in your family.
stupid question. they are all RWD or AWD or both. not just FWD
either both bulbs burnt out highbeam only or you need a headlight switch (controls signals, cruise(if it has it), and headlights)
Check your light bults and connections, Check the ground. Get a volt tester and check for proper power. exc.
sounds like you have a blowen fuse
The 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee takes 20" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front and a 10" or 11" wiper on the rear.
OPI Brights is a brand of nail polish. It can be purchased at Ulta both in store and online. One may also find some on eBay or Amazon. OPI Brights come in many different colors.
Have you checked to see if the brights are not just burnt out? Rarely do they both go at the same time, but it is possible.
No. They are not interchangeable.
check the plug at the back of switch it may be loose

No, different trans's EDit: Depends on what the engine is... if Both Jeeps have a L6 4.0 then yes the Transmission should fit.. if the Grand Cherokee has a V6,V8.. then no..
if both headlights went put it is probably a blown fuse
