Hinduism accepted all the belief & rituals that it came in contact with. Thus this led to many controversial ideas and taboos in Hindu society.
If a catholic girl marries Hindu boy by doing 7 feras does it mean the girl is converted into Hinduism?
No.. not at all.. that simply means that that girl is now married with the boy.. by Hindu rites and rituals.... nothing else.. it doesnt concern religion!!

Mostly no as most of the Roy belongs to Brahmins or Kshatriya Brahmins in India as well as Bengal. Few of Roy may get in other caste mainly in Bengal, but they all have strong & higher root in society. A few Roy also may falls on Sch. Depends on what Hindu God or Goddess they believe in. So its hard to say, they have Buddha, Krishna, Shiva, Rama and many more. They all practice different things and prayers. They study different Vedas and teachings from different Gurus. Most use the term Yoga but not as what we think of as Yoga. There are different types of Yoga for each Hindu Guru. All the Vedas are written in Sanskrit. That can be called as dead language. Vedas have been translated to the Hindi and English languages. The Vedas are also not fallowed properly.
