Why do butterworts grow flowers?

same reason other plants grow flowers, the flower is the reproductive part of the plant, there are imperfect flowers, which have either the male parts of the flower or the female parts of the flower, and there are perfect flowers which have them both, so the pollen from the male flower gets to the female flower, enters the flower and fertilizes the ovules in the female flower, creating seeds. soon a fruit will grow around the seeds and drop to the ground, and those seeds will be the next generation of the butterwort plant.
