Its genetic. Its not because their sick or underfed. There are quite a few camels that have floppy humps, you don't usually see them in zoos or films because they don't look like the "typical" camel.

∙ 14y agoonly (mostly) with bactrian (2 humped) camels does this happen, it is usally a sign of old age and due to the tissue underneath the skin holding the hump upright weakening. there is no "cure".
