In America, canteens are often referred to as "cafeterias" or "dining halls," especially in schools, colleges, and workplaces. In military contexts, they may also be called "mess halls." Additionally, portable canteens for carrying water are simply known as "water bottles" or "canteens."

I would stretch 2 canvases separately and then attach them back-to-back, then maybe trim the edges for a finished look. There are 1 quart canteens (32 oz) and 2 quart canteens (64 oz).
The plural form of the noun canteen is canteens. The plural possessive form is canteens'.
