Cities at the same latitude may still have different elevations, and may be near or
far from large bodies of water. Both of those characteristics have huge influence
on the climate of the place.
=== -Marine West CoastClimate is a region’s weather over a long period. Within its vast expanse, Canada embraces seven climatic zones. Each of the zones depends on conditions such as proximity to large bodies of water, altitude, and latitude. Southern Ontario enjoys warm, humid summers and short, cold winters, because of the moderating influence of the Great Lakes. The mountainous interior of British Columbia and the Yukon Territory support glaciers on the summits and semideserts in the valleys. Latitude — the distance north or south of the equator — influences whether a climate is cold or hot. The midlatitude Prairies experience continental extremes: cold winters and hot, dry summers. The high-latitude Arctic endures intensely dry and frigid conditions. The largest zone by far is the Subarctic, which knows short, cool summers and long, cold winters, and low precipitation. All of southern Canada is classified as “temperate” — that is, it has four seasons. Winter touches all zones, save the Pacific, where warm winds promote a mild, rainy climate year-round. By contrast, the prevailing west-to-east winds moving across central Canada bring cool, humid summers and short, cool winters to Atlantic Canada.
There are a few countries that have a latitude measurements of 20 degree that runs across. Latitude measurements can be across the earth.
Latitude lines are like bands across the Earth. They go from East to South.
Latitude, with an A, goes across the map.Longitude, with an O, goes over the Poles.
Parallels. An easy way to remember this is by remembering that lines of lattitude run parallel across the earth.
Fleece jackets are usually worn during the winter. Different areas across the United States--especially the northern United States--have longer "winters" and shorter "summers", which means that fleece jackets can be worn for a much longer portion of the year.

Long cold winters and short summers with lots of mosquitoes and Black Flies. They live in a broad band across northern Canada. They live in frozen lands, and extremly cold conditions.
Latitude lines go -------- (across) And Longitude goes | | | (up & down)
Taiga biome stretches across a large portion of Canada, Europe and Asia. The area has cold winters, warm summers and is well treed with old growth conifer/softwood. What the area residents often call "the bush"
Latitude is going across.

A parallel or "line" of latitude is the collection of all points on earth that have the same single latitude. It circles the earth in an east/west direction, parallel to the equator, and cuts across all longitudes. A meridian or "line" of longitude is the collection of all points on earth that have the same single longitude. It joins the north and south poles, and cuts across all parallels of latitude.
By west I assume you mean western America. It varies all across the west, Utah for example has extremely cold winters and mind melting summers. Just west from that, Navada, is mostly desert. Just west from there, California, is more of a tropical climate.
Warm and hot Summers, the winters are mild, except in the mountainous regions, there snow falls like no other. the north and south is very tropical.
Racial violence and riots occurred in cities across America.
Princess Street, just across from the castle.
