Teachers act badly toward other teachers and students for the same reasons other people do. They have a bad personality, something is bothering them or any number of other reasons. If their behavior is actually bullying, they should be reported, just like anyone who bullies should be. Keep in mind, though, that a teacher with a highly assertive or poor personality is not necessarily a bully.

No, your college and university professors are only trying to make you a better person. When you graduate and go out into the world looking for a job... it's not going to be a piece of cake with he boss. In college, you are being prepared for the real world, just like in elementary school you're being mentored for middle school, middle school for high school, etc.
