That's the very definition of close-minded and intolerant. I think the difference I see is liberals are less honest about it or outright can't even see their own bias. Conservatives seem far more honest about the fact that this is what they believe and they are ok with that and they know it means they have a bias towards a certain way of doing things. It seems almost a difference in maturity level to be honest. I'm surprised that someone would ask this. Do you not think there is a certain bias when a person chooses how they will think and believe? Isn't by nature choosing one way over another exclusionary to other ways of thinking? So in that end would liberals and conservatives both have a certain amount of 'shutting off' to other ideas? So why do we view liberals as open-minded really?
