Dolphins don't have two brains. I'm guessing you are reffering to their ability to let one side of their brain sleep. There are two overall lobes of the brain. I don't know the medical term for them but many know them as left brain and right brain. In humans, use of one side of the brain is usually associated with certain traits. For instance, left brained people are usually artistic. In dolphins, the brain is also divided into the two lobes. DOlphins though, have developed the ability to let one side of their brain sleep while the other stays barely awake to keep them from crashing into things and to help survive attacks by predators. The other lobe will then rest when the original sleeping lobe is rested.

Can dolphins be smart?

Dolphins have large brains for their bodies -- in fact, a bottlenose dolphin is second only to humans in the ratio of brain size to body size. Researchers have also pointed to the parallels in the organization of dolphin and primate brains as more evidence of high intelligence in dolphins. Some have gone so far as to suggest that dolphins actually have a language that humans simply cannot comprehend.

How do dolphins get killed by oil?

Is a frog brain smaller then a human brain?

If you are thinking about chimpanzees and dolphins, they have larger brains because dolphins cant move their eyes and chimpanzees have brains that are smaller, they just use it more. Frogs have much smaller brains since they can't figure out lots of things. But my African dwarf frog would always swim toward my hand, showing they can remember some things.
