a burning sensation when you first put your contacts in maybe from them being dry, or the salt from the skin on your finger. Also make sure you wash your hands well before you handle the lenses, you may have soap or lotion still on your hand which is an eye irritant.
If it is a continuous burn remove the contact, and seek professional help.

∙ 13y agoContacts don't hurt when they are in corectly. Here are some reasons why they might be hurting:
•They are inside out. (You can tell by seeing before you put them in)
•They are ripped or torn.
•Your eyes might be dry.
There are many other reasons but these are the most common. Hope this helped!

Yes they will hurt your eyes. Over the counter contacts have been proven to harm the eyes and at 12 your eyes are changing all the time. The ones you could afford would be so cheap and bad that you could harm your eyes for years to come. This is a bad idea.
