The greatest difference is in size. The male elephant seal can be three to four times the size of the females. Also the males elephant seal has a conspicuous nasal wattle while the female has none.
Other difference are apparent in other species of seals but that can be somebody else's turn.
Harbor seals live an average twenty five years but females live about 5 years longer than males. Why you may be asking? That is because during the mating season which is June through September the males fight for the females. They fight for two reasons. One is that the females want the strongest to have babies with. So the males try to impress the females with their fighting skills. The second reason is there is a lot of males but not a lot of females. So two males fight to the death for the female (or until one gets injured) They scratch, bite, and slap the other male to try to win.until one male finally wins he gets the female.
A seals life cycle is live then die *-*
The life span of a seal depends of the species, some living longer than others. The most frequently seen seal is the common seal. The male common seal generally have shorter lives than the female of the species. The males life span can be anything from 20 to 25 years, whereas the females live for 30 to 35 years.
Yes The law(theory) of life 1.All living things are composed of cells 2. All existing cells come from previous cells 3.Cells are the most basic unit of life (this is 7th grade biology how do you not know this)
