lots of babies die so they need lots of eggs to have some survive
Goldfish need to mature before they can lay eggs and they can get pretty large (6" or more). By the time they are large enough, they have outgrown a fish bowl. So technically, the answer is no. You will need large goldfish in a large tank before you can breed them.
about 10 gal per fish
"Icthyosaurs" were large marine reptiles.
Water (obviously), fish food, a large bowl size (ask pet store what size of tank you need for a particular fish), proper lighting, etc.
Yes they will be happy because they can sleep in the plants and on the gravel. But the fish tank should be large for the fish so it has more room.I would get a large fish tank at petco they are a good price and work GREAT.
yes
With a guppy you need to look at the gravid spot. This is a dark spot in the fish's belly. A large gravid spot indicates the fish is likely to be pregnant. You can tell how pregnant the fish is by how large the spot is. Sorry I have no experience with other species.
Puffer fish do not have small mouths. In fact they have a decently large mouth, they need this to fit their large teeth, which they chew on live rock to keep filed down.
Simple answer is " No they do not need salt." Clown Loach (Botia macrocantha) are however a large fish and like to be kept in groups (schools) so they need a large aquarium.
The fish will be competing for food, as a large number of fish need a large amount of food to keep them alive. As the population grows, the amount of food in excess will shrink, until there is only enough food for the fish already alive. When this happens, the weaker fish will die, as the stronger fish will outcompete them for the food.
Koi fish need good filtration and oxygenation with regular water changes. They need a large container as most types can reach large sizes. They need cool water and to be feed twice a day in small amounts. I personally would not recommend them for beginners, however, it all depends on the research, time and care one is willing to devote to the fish.
