There are many reasons to why girls want to look good. But several answers shed some light on the answer that you want. 1. Girls want to compete for who looks better. Who has the better dooney purse, who has the better acrlyic nails, who has the newest hollister sweater, and who can pull it off the best? Who is skinnier and who has the bigger boobs. Its either about material things or the body competition, or even both. Its all for show and competition. 2. Girls compete for guys, and they assume that dressing up and looking good will attract the guys attention more than the girl standing twenty feet away. We believe that when spend 10 hours in front of the mirror that a guy will notice and more likely take interest in us. Girls also believe that the skinnier and the bigger your boobs are the more the guys will come. Girls go to great pains to draw attention, and it all begins with the mirror. 3. Occasionally a girl who doesnt really care about what other people think, a girl will just want to look good to feel better about herself. It improves self esteem and who wants to be nasty and gross. Girls have lots of reasons on why they want to look good. It all depends on the individual personality of her. Whether its working out to stay healthy, staying on a diet so she can wear the new size 1 or spending endless hours in front of the mirror, its all capable of the complexity of the female mind. Vanity, like anger and what not is a state of mind.
Looking good means looking fresh and keeping fresh means looking good.
And its the appropriate thing to do, some people have to do it for more reasons then other so making yourself beautiful is also a fun thing people look forward to(not me). .
There are 1000000 ways to look good and ways people choose clothes and style is to seduce the people they need to seduce, show character the way they want to or simply to feel good.
Trust me, it feel's good in a 10 100 dollar suit! (I would not know but people around me sure do)
