Itz because they r suffering thourgh life and they cut them selfs so the can let out all that stress and 1 cut mean u solved a problem i know this cuz my Friend use to cut her self and she was only13 but i got her out of it but she use to be scared to show her arms to her boyfriend or friends sooo that's y they cut them self Hope this helped Ur question
