Well actually, this probably means they like you. There is a guy I like, and I sometimes hate him for no particular reason. Girls sometimes get frustrated when they want to have a conversation with a guy, and the guy just throws out one word answers. they might just be mad that you don't talk to them as much as they hoped you would, or just that you did something you don't even know she might not like. It's very complicated.
