If girls are looking at you from another car and then turning on the interior light they may be providing light for you to see them because they are interested in you.
Look to the right of the road.
Should be in the main fuse block. Look for a fuse labeled "courtesy".
If the interior lights and overdrive are also not working then is a fuse. Look in the owners manual to see which fuse.
There is a knob on your dashboard that you can turn to set the brightness of your dash lights and interior lights. If you have this knob turned all the way down, the interior light will not come on when you open the doors, and your dashboard lights will be dark. If this is not the solution to your problem, look for a blown fuse in your fuse box.
I am not a mechanic, however as an electrician it sounds like the running board lights are wired to the same relay as the interior lights. To check this, simply crank the truck, leave all the exterior lights off, turn on the interior light, then walk around the truck and look at the running board lights. If they are on then turn the interior light off and the parking lights on, check to see if the running board lights come back on. Depending on the make and model of the truck, I could be way off in left field and this info may not apply. uuummmm.....programing?
There is a fuse you can pull located in the fuse panel behind the glove box. I can't remember which fuse it is, but i pull mine all the time. Simply look through the owner's manual and find the schematic for the fuse panel. The fuse only runs the interior light. Once you pull this, you can ride without the doors with no interior lights.
Have someone go in the car and press the pedal and have another look at the side thats working to determine this.
Check bulbs - they are double filamented smaller is for turn and brake lights
Because you have a 10amp fuse out. Look in your book for the fuse diagram. It will show you where the fuse is located for the interior and door lights. The fuses are located in your glove box (right hand side). My fuse goes out all the time. Took it to the dealership and they said they couldn't figure out why the fuses kept going out. Go figure. So I just keep changing them when one blows.
You need to look for a bad ground. Look for wires that bolt to the metal surfaces. (generally black wires, but it can and often does vary) The easiest way to check would be to acquire a wiring diagram for your car. Then you can find out where the ground wire is for your interior lights and repair it. It's probably either lose or rusted. Requiring tightening, or sanding. Best of luck.
Look at other girls, say they r hot under your breath, talk to other girls, and basically do a lot of stuff with other girls.
look inside rubber gromett between door and car frame. You have a broken wire in there - very common problem
