Women, on the other hand are biologically programmed to try and find a perfect partner who will stay around, protect and provide for her and their children as she can only physically have a limited number of children in her childbaring years.

∙ 15y agoIt's somewhat of an animalistic behavior. Animals base their choice in mating partners on the scents of their mates. Since most animals have a very keen sense of smell, there would be different scents of a female depending on the time of the year and so on. The scent would imply whether the female is ready for fertilization to continue the species.
Now, this doesn't seem like it has too much to do with the human male, but it actually does. Guys may not realize this sort of behavior either. Plus it's some sort of a natural aphrodisiac or "turn on" for many of them.
