hindus do not believe in one god only. they believe in 330000 gods. some of there gods are more important then others. such as ram, krishna, etc. muslims, christians and other religions such as these believe in 1 god

______________

There will always be varying opinions on such questions; for example, Muslims and Jews find it difficult or impossible to consider Christianity monotheistic because of the trinitarian nature of the Christian God. Contributors, please don't engage in a defense of the Trinity in this answer window; do that in discussion or in answer to appropriate questions. This is just a statement of fact in support of the question on Hinduism.

Hinduism is fundamentally monotheistic. The many deities of Hinduism are understood at the deepest levels to be different aspects of the one God Brahman. This deep understanding does NOT involve the many deities coming together under the leadership of the chief god Brahman.
