Best Answer

Cheetahs don't hunt in packs.

Cheetahs are generally solitary animals.

Males and females come together to breed, then the cubs stay with their mother until they're old enough to manage on their own.

Sometimes you get siblings, particularly males, who kinda-sorta cooperate in hunting.

They can hunt alone quite successfully but when they hunt as a pride (not a pack) some take on the role of driving the prey to others waiting a head in ambush. It is more efficient to do this and normally it is the lionesses that do the hunting.

Not that lions are the only cat that lives in a social group.

There are four species of hyena. The spotted hyena does hunt in packs. Striped hyenas and brown hyenas are scavengers, so they do not require teamwork to hunt for food. Aardwolves are insectivores, primarily eating termites, so they do not require teamwork for foraging either.
