Some people also do not exercise their power - political or other - in ways that make them more powerful, while other people devote their lives to exercising their political power and consolidating it.

Inequalities exist, and will always exist, because no government can provide absolute fairness. Faireness is subjective. Leaders have their own self-interests and are incapable of being totally impartial. Governments can only hope to do the best for the most.
