'pagan tradition' is quite different from 'pagan origins'.
It is 'pagan tradition' to 'eat, drink, even to pray'. Jehovah's witnesses don't stop eating, drinking, and praying, just because the pagans follow that tradition.

What are wedding rigs?
You have been mis-informed as Jehovah witnesses do not have pegan origins. They are a branch of Christianity.
Yes. There is nothing pagan in origin about wedding gifts or wedding anniversary gifts.
No. Jehovah's Witnesses do not wear crosses which they view as symbols of pagan worship.
Yes they do, if they want to. Just because they don't do Christmas and birthdays doesn't mean they can't have a wedding reception, as wedding receptions, in themselves, are not considered as pagan celebrations. They do, however, try and avoid any pagan practices associated with wedding celebrations.
Yes; Jehovah's Witnesses have nothing against gift giving or receiving. They do not celebrate pagan holidays.
Because they are not Catholics. Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in ritualisitc fasting or holidays associated with what they consider to be false religion and/or pagan rites.
Jehovah's Witnesses have no objection to receiving gifts; they don't celebrate holidays that have pagan origins.
Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses have no objections to any celebration so long as it does not have pagan or false religious origins.
This is entirely untrue. Infant sacrifices are illegal in most civilized societies and is not practiced by Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses do not practice child sacrifice and no edition of their magazine "The Awake" has advocated such a ritual. Please, consider verifying this source before speading malicious rumors. I'm certain that if you reread the article it will provide you with the truth and clear up the misconception. If, however, you heard it from someone, verify that source, as well before making the accusation. Further... Jehovah's Witnesses avoid pagan rituals and respect governmental laws; "infant sacrifice" or killing of babies is illegal in most countries and therefore contrary to both biblical and secular law. The Awake magazine (published by Jehovah's Witnesses) contains no mandate to sacrifice children or young babies since this would be offensive to their christians sensibilities.
Well, Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate holidays because of the pagan origins behind Christmas. Christmas is actually on the date that the Romans celebrated the sun god. So the answer is NO.
Jehovah's Witnesses see the cross as a pagan symbol and believe that it was an upright stake with no crossbeam that Jesus was nailed to. Actually, even though many people have not been taught this by their religious system, the word 'cross' is not in the original Greek Bible manuscripts. The word 'stake' or 'tree' is in the Greek manuscripts. Thus Jehovah's Witnesses use the word 'stake', because that's the actual word in the Bible.
Jehovah's Witnesses do indeed celebrate things. They have no objection to celebrating births, anniversaries, weddings and any other celebration that does not have pagan or religious significance.Jehovah's Witnesses only observe one RELIGIOUS celebration: ''There is only one celebration that the Bible instructs Christians to observe, and that is the memorial of Jesus' own death'' Awake 22nd Feb 1970 p28.
