One of the key features of children is that they taste the world rather than explore the world like in older kids.
To taste boogers is quite natural and not thought harmful.
Some eat them for life. others stop eating them when they get a girlfriend (or boyfriend).
Most stop after a while due to mum or dad telling them how disgusting it is.

∙ 10y agoPeople pick their noses for a number of reasons. It could just be boredom or a nervous habit. Or they could have itching or trouble breathing through their nose. It feels much better when there are not things stuck inside the nose.
Something to ponder is why there are people who care what others do with their own noses. Others don't do things for our benefit most of the time, and someone picking their own nose does not affect other people.
