Kittens will act very clumsy for the first few weeks. If they fall asleep sitting, they may also bob their heads as they bounce from being partially awake, to deep in sleep. If you feel this may be a medical issue, call a veterinary and ask for advice. As this sounds like something very simple, they may give free, over-the-phone advice.

The most common reason is ear mites. Look in their ears. If you see a build up of dirt, they might have ear mites. Taking them to the vet would be a good idea.

Cats twitch their tails when they are annoyed. If they are thrashing their tail from side to side be careful, because that means that your cat is angry, and that it might attack.
