Koalas have a really long and complicated digestive system because they only eat Leaves( Eucalyptus Leaves mainly), and these leaves contain toxins which allows their digestive system to take a longer amount of time to break down the food and digest.
No. That is a complete fallacy. Koalas have a very slow metabolism because that is what is needed for them to digest the eucalyptus leaves, but the eucalyptus does not contain anything that will make them "high".
Yes, it is possible that an herbivore can digest meat. However, an herbivore eats only vegetation and would not need to digest meat.
Swallowing gum isn't really harmful, your body can't digest it, but it doesn't stay in your body. It travels through your digestive system and is excreted in your feces.
Horses are not able to digest marrow. It is not really beneficial to them and can even cause some digestive problems.
There are none. I really wish there were though. Koalas are my favorite animals!
Koalas can really only survive independently of their mothers at about twelve months old.
It's either microorganisms or cellulose?I'm not really sure, try both if the question is inA Crossword Puzzleor a word searchHope this helps! :) Thanks!:)
Well really the longer it takes to eat the longer it takes to digest. The quicker it is to eat the easier it is to digest. Like if you were going to eat an orange or a soft fruit or something else really easy to eat it would only take like twenty minutes to digest. And say you were to eat a steak, it would take like 2 hours to digest it fully. Another good tip is to eat fruit and soft things before you eat a main meal because it gets your digestive system ready. Gum is also really bad for you because when you chew something it gets your digestive system ready, except you don't eat anything..
pepsin and all other digestive enzymes are neutralized by the small intestine
