Some micro-organisms do not necessarily die (after they reproduce both new cells have an equal claim to being the parent cell)
If you regard death as an essential part of the lifecyle, they lack life cycles
By answering this question I assume that you mean why do living things die, as the actual question why there is a life cycle seems rather pointless or obvious to me. (correct me if I'm wrong). As in why do living things die: It's because chromosomes carry a tiny part of seemingly useless material at their ends. This material shrinks alittle everytime these chromosomes are duplicated, once the material is too small, the cell won't duplicate and unless replaced, the living creature dies.
Native is not my English language, sorry for any typos. :)
Living things have a definite lifespan because living things cannot live forever as if everybody lived forever, the earths" population would increase rapidly and people would have to leave this earth and live in or settle in a different planet.
No one knows. There are many guesses (sometimes called theories) as to how the first living things came to be, but the only thing known for sure is that it happened for earth more than 3 billion years ago when earth was a completely different place that few if any modern living things could survive in.
Since these exact conditions cannot be replicated with certainty, it likely took millions of years for the necessary chemical reactions to happen, and it only needed to happen once (although it likely took place many times in many places on earth) we can never perform experiments that could prove how it happened. However several experiments have confirmed that many chemicals necessary for life (e.g. amino acids, RNA) can form spontaneously and surprisingly rapidly under conditions assumed to exist on earth more than 3 billion years ago.
it's so that there's no over population. if there is too much animals or people they would (sorry but) have to kill them
All living organisms have a life cycle because it is a natural cause.
There is really no answer to why living organisms have a life cycle.
a span of life (life span) is how long an organism (a living thing) can live.
yes you could say all living things hace a life span even bacteria they are "born" grow and die so it is a life cycle
The sea turtle has the longest known life span of all known sea animals. The dolphin is the longest living mammal.
living things has a life it can move can eat can grow. non living things has no life it cannot move unless we will not touch it. it cannot eat cannot grow..
a horses life span is about 30 years but some can live longer it depends what conditions they are kept in and what breed also if they are living in the wild or captivity
Everything that has a start and an ending can be said to have a life span, but it's usually used for various living things.

Each living thing has a different life span. Cats and dogs could live anywhere from 10 to 15 years of age.
Anything and everything has a life span. Everything man made will break down and wear out. Everything in nature changes, often so slowly that we can't see it in our lifetime. Eventually, even the biggest mountain ranges will be worn away, planets self destruct and suns burn out.

A life span is the length of time that something lives for. Every living creature has a life span. For example a sea turtles life span is 100-150 years.
All living things are made of cells. All living things require and use energy. All living things grow, develop, reproduce and repair themselves. All living things produce waste All living things respond and adapt to their environment. All living things have a life span.
living things have cells inside of them, reproduce, repair themselves, grow, breathe, have energy, respond to the enviroment, have a life span and produce wastes.
any living thing

The giant panda's life span is approximately 14 to 20 years. It depends on if the panda is living in a zoo or living in the wild.
asians have the longest life span in the world with some of them living past 130 years old
