Mac is designed with music/graphic design/video editing in mind. Mac is stable because the software and hardware are designed for each other. We can't afford to have a computer freeze or crash during a performance. Mac OS X boots up quicker than Windows too.
Firewire interface is a must to interact with a hardisk full of music and other hardware products. Firewire is faster than USB, and it uses less CPU/RAM power. This is vital when running powerful DJ software. The DJ software allows us to play any requested songs that's not available in our hard drive.
Finally, we can download music from all kind of sources with little fear for viruses/malware.
DJs have multiple places where they can perform. They can be Club DJ, performing at clubs. They can be Mobile DJs, performing at school functions, wedding, and/or private parties. Lastly, they can be Radio DJs, performing on the radio.

Not at all. In fact, most radio DJs are not singers and never were. You just need good speaking skills. Most DJs have a degree in communication.
