Humans are fairly noisy as well. 've been a curios person always and the cats' behavior did not escape to my attention. I went near them and observed why such a loud sound is being produced. I noticed that the penis of the male cat is like a saw, spiral in shape, thus hurting the female cat.

∙ 13y agoThe tom cat actually locks his nails on the girl when he mounts her in order to keep her from running since their penis has little spikes that hurts the vaginal walls of the girl. She`s the one screaming from the pain.

∙ 10y agoWhen cats mate, the male cat's penis, which is barbed, rakes against her, which signals the ovaries to drop an egg. This is extremely uncomfortable, as you can imagine, so yes they screech. Also, when the cats are done mating, the female will roll around because of the discomfort and to help the egg drop down. Hope this helps.

Hi, Cats will not mate if either male or female is not in heat. (Males in heat just simply means looking for a mate.) Only if both of them are in heat will the mating process begin. Then again, the male and female might not like each other. It is rare that this affects the mating process, but the female has to submit to the new mate's love-bite. Some females bully the males, which of course, makes the male avoid the female. However, if both cats are in heat, and both cooperative, the mating process should go just fine. Of course, you can't force the cats to mate, but occasionally, males can get a little picky about the females. Hope this helped.
