They don't necessarily work in groups, they just tell a partner or something, what they thought of the experiment that he/she was working on.
they work in groups because they have to share there ideas.
While many scientists work in small groups, or even alone, there are many examples where groups of hundreds of scientists work together. The space programme, and the Large Hadron Collider would be a couple of examples. It all depends on the nature of the job. If you were the scientist working in a soap factory, you may be the only scientist, or maybe you would have the assistance of a technician.
There are many, and it would depend on who you were to ask, but many scientist believe Darwin to be a great scientist, due to his work on evolution.
he is a famous scientist and did many inventions

it is a very common thing to see scientist working in groups because there would be another scientist there to discuss the solution to the problem with and a scientist may get it wrong however if there is someone else there they may be able to convince the other one to think out other options. but there are also times where a scientist finds it usefull and easier to work alone.hope this helps you a bitbye x
