under god, our father, we are all brothers and sisters.
Yes, or you can call them siblings
You can call your mom's sister by addressing her as "Aunt [her name]" or simply "Auntie." It's polite and respectful to use familial terms of reference when addressing relatives.
If you guys are friends that may be his 'style'. he could like you, idk?
If they call you sister you think fondly of you; as if you are family. They have no romantic interest in you though. They will be your friend and if you do need protection you will get it from them.
It's kind of a primal instinct. Men like to think they're dominant and that women belong to them; it goes back to the cavemen days (literally; it's impressed in our psyches) when men had to protect their "herds" of women and children. As for calling us "sister", that could be either a form of affection or they're trying to annoy you. Could go both ways here.
In my home country, we call the elderly, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle or Aunty, (depending on how older they are to us) as a sign of great respect. If they are at about the same age as us we say brother or sister. Its just basically a sign of respect among one another. Hope this helped :)
you call her your daughter's husband's sister
It depends...the women call the daughter in laws Nyab (pronounced Nee-ah) and the boys call her Niam ntaim (Nee- ah dye).
You don't call your brother's sister your aunt. Your brother's sister is your sister, or you. Your aunt is the sister of your mother or father.
You would call your mother's sister an aunt.
You would call your sister's daughter your niece.
