- *i cant find any sources on my the subject, so the following is bases on observation and opinion* I believe it came the Victorian era in Great Britain and it suppose to convey the idea of a man showing inferiority to his would be spouse, i believe it states "Without you i am nothing, or My love for you makes me weak and i need you to make me strong."
