Most do it out of habit (something they pick up from their parents, other kids, when they were young, etc.), to get attention (generally for younger kids, but applies to some adults, as well), or as a nervous reaction.A reasonable answer would be that they rebelled against their parents when they were younger and never quit the habit.
If you want to pick a medieval king, you might try Charlemagne or William the Conqueror. There were lots of kings during the Middle Ages. We probably do not even have an accurate count of the number of kingdoms, but there were many of them. Add to that the fact that the Middle Ages lasted a thousand years, and you might have well over a thousand kings. Some kings are so obscure we do not even know their names.
Most of the time yes but sometimes if your really good they pick you out and draft you around the age of 14 or 15 (like Bobby Orr). However in most cases yes you have to go to school and play college hockey.
Possibly so middle school students don't pick on the elementary kids.
of course they should. every school should let primary school kids choose their own subjects as well!!
you pick the people that you like
Greenbelt is a good middle school, but if you want to go to a better middle school , pick Kenmore because the possibilities are endless
In Middle School you can pick 1 or 2 electives same as high school. And in college you pick your own classes.
no it doesn't you have to drive your kid or kids there.
no
no the children should not have the right to pick the things they learn in school
they think its stupid and that kids should get to pick if they go to school.
It would help if the principle got into gear and got the kids of the school to design one and pick from the lot. Do like a comp to get the kids motivated.
I do K12 and it'sawesome! It's a on-line charter school where you pick 4 subjects and a foreign language. I strongly recommend.
You pick subjects that you enjoy and are good at. But little tip is to pick 8-10 subjects because that will look so good on your C.V in the future. Think carefully about what you want to achieve in life and career you would like to do because you have to pick certain subjects for certain jobs.
