Like human food? If so then certain types. One thing I always found weird was that in almost all movies they show cats drinking milk or cream, but when I got my cats I was told by the vet that most cats are actually lactose intolerant. A lot of certain human foods will probably get them sick so be careful

Yes. All cats and kittens are obligate carnivores which means they must eat meat to survive, as meat and other aspects of prey (such as organs and bone) supply all the nutrients and moisture a cat needs. This is why it is important to feed your pet cat a good quality pet food that has a high meat content.

The best foods are the ones with a very high, named-meat content. They should be labelled by source, such as: Chicken, Turkey, Rabbit, Lamb, Tuna, etc., as the first, or first two ingredients. Reject brands with ingredients such as Grain, Corn, Wheat Gluten, Cereals and Various Sugars as these ingredients have very little or no nutritional value for cats. Wet foods are often much easier to find than dry foods with these specifications.

The amount of moisture in cat food is one of the most important part of a cat's diet. Dry food contains no moisture, so is quite dehydrating. Cats are notoriously bad drinkers, even when they are thirsty. This is because they have evolved to get all their needed moisture from their prey, therefore have a low "thirst drive" and will not often seek out water on their own.

Canned or pouched food has anywhere between 60 to 80% water. Seeing as in the wild a cat's prey is around 65%-75% water, wet food provides a cat with more than enough water each day.

Sadly, a lot of brands put rice and wheat and corn mixed into cat food (particularly dry food), which may lead some to believe cats are omnivores. This couldn't be further from the truth. Rice, corn, wheat and other cereals provides nothing in the way of nutrition and pet food manufacturers add this as cheap filler to bulk up the food. Cats do not benefit from this at all.

Cats need meat-based protein, not plant-based protein. Cats will often overeat on lower quality foods because they are not getting all the nutrients they need, which can result in obesity and other health problems which can drastically shorten a cat's lifespan and overall quality of life.

Is the Pope Catholic? Do bears go in the woods? They certainly aren't vegetarians. Cats need to eat meat, as raw meat, organs and bone contain everything a cat needs. Cat food should have a high amount of meat in, which will have supplements added to the food to make it complete.

Because all cats are obligate carnivores. This means they exclusively eat meat in order to get all the nutrients they need. Cats do not need (aside from skin, flesh, bone and organs) anything else in their diet.

Most often they don't. Usually they eat meat such as rabbits and birds. Some of my neighbors cats have been killed and eaten by coyotes so I guess they eat cats too. They eat many other things that contain meat but those are the most common food of a coyote.
