∙ 13y agoYour statement is rather broad and to say that most do is not accurate. People fall different ways and it depends how they fall if they hit their head or not. Some fall forward and may only go down on a knee, while others may slip and fall sideways or backwards. The backwards fall may result in more hitting their heads than other falls just because of the way they fall.
