head lights Jeep Wrangler 2004. They don't work where should I start
no
The lights are automatic for your daytime running lights AND your regular head lights. There is a light sensor on your dash that knows when it get dark. When it's dark your headlights will automatically come on, daytime lights turn off and your dashboard lights will dim as a result, since you no longer need them to be that bright when it's dark. As far as the parking brake, it triggers your daytime lights to turn off, so when you disengage your parking brake, they will turn on for normal driving. All of this is a good thing because you never have to worry about turning your on/off...ever.

obviously your wrangler is a piece of junk and you need to give it to some hobo that will live in it and enjoy a one of a kind none head/brake light jeep wrangler lol. JK JK um i really have no idea but i would sugjest changing the bulbs inside the little plastic cover. If that doesnt work than take it to a dealer and i am sure they will figure it out within no time. :D LOL ALLEN
Check bulbsTailights are usually common to the parking and dash light circuit
First shut the vehicle off, then set the parking brake, then start it back up, the lights should remain off. Once you release the e-brake the lights will come back on.
Brake lights should NOT be effected by the headlights. Brake light function is completely independent of the headlights. Assuming you are not refering to the tail lights, or marker lights, which are supposed to come when the head lights are turned on. Not having brake lights when the head lights are on is a big safety problem and should be corrected.
