We want you to live with us, by Crikey yes! but we are so time poor these days. Mum is working. Dad is working. We do not have the time to give you the real love and companionship and parental demonstrative relationship that you deserve. So, we ship you off to Grandma's, knowing that you are still with family. We know you do not like being over at Grammie's but short of boarding school, we are left with no alternative. Blood is thicker than water and we really do love you dearly, we truly do. Alas, we, your parents need love and attention ourselves. You see, we too are needy individuals. I need your father's love and he needs my support. If I wasn't working full time, sure I would love to give you the time and discipline and love that you truly deserve. Like all of us, you must begin to grow up and learn to love and respect yourself. Find yourself. Suffer a little. Learn a few of life's hard lessons, then you too can go forth and marry and procreate little sods who will by then be a member of Gen Wank, so you can take all of your frustrations out on your children, as we all have done with you. Cry, go punch a few walls, bully a few kids, graph a few walls, break a few windows then find that steel within and build that bridge and get over it. Time wil heal, darling. I know it is hard to see what lies beyond, but soon you will understand it all. It's called life. No one said it was going to be a piece of cake, coz it sure ain't. Know this and half of your sanity will be saved. Good luck at Grammie's. I miss you xx

Which are the main requirements to be considered to start a house of children. how do you implement them?

There are different types of homes for children and for disabled adults. Normally group homes for children are agencies of the government which places these types of children, mostly delinquent children, in these types of homes and for a specific amount of time. The only other type of homes for children are foster homes, which can be started by any single or couple who are willing to become foster parents. Every state has its own rules by which this is done, so you will have to check with that state. Generally there has to be enough facility to hold a group of foster children, and the potential foster parents must undergo a background check and application process.

This is a debateable question. This is what I think: A gun CAN be allowed in the home of children but, ONLY IF the parent(s) have the gun(s) locked up somwhere out of the reach of children.

As single parent families increase, it can place a financial burdens on state and the federal government to aid poor single parent families. Aside from that, most sociologists believe that children in such families suffer as a parent is "missing". This is not healthy for any nation.

Are children from single parent homes less likely to graduate?

There is a big possibility. Without two parents to love them, they give up. They need two people who can help them along. But as long as they have one involved parent, they can make it.

Can you go to an orphanage instead of foster care?

In the US, orphanage is an obsolete term, and instead children in the care of the state are cared for in either foster homes or group homes; in both cases, you are in foster care. In general, the preference of the system is to put children in care into foster homes instead of group homes whenever possible. If you really wish to reside in a group home instead of a foster home, you should talk to your case worker, therapist and/or Guardian at Litem (or Attourney At Litem)
