Why do people ask ridiculous questions?
Many people, usually teenagers, do not realize that this is a serious site. They ask ridiculous questions and put ridiculous answers because they treat this site as some kind of social networking site instead of a Q and A site. If you find a ridiculous question, you should report it or change it. If you see a ridiculous answer, you should change it or flag it.

Many of the contributors on WikiAnswers are mindless, careless teenagers. People like them tend to write peculiar, ridiculous, and/or offensive questions and answers.

Yes, that is why there are over 1,000 Supervisors that try to clean up the nonsense answers on the site. It helps if people let us know where they are in the forums.

No. The answers to questions are not programmed; the answers come from people that want to give their time to give the answers to questions.
Why won't your system tell me the answers?
The reason is because we don't have a system that answers questions. How the answers get there is by people. By asking and answering questions. So since people give the answers it might be days or weeks or more till you get an answer because we have 2,000,000 members and 10,000,000 questions so there are a lot of questions to go through and answer them all but eventually your questions will have answers.
Why do you accept questions if you do not answer them?
Wiki Answers does not answer questions. It only provides a place for people to answer questions asked by other people.
