they are becuz they are made with expensive REAL sheepskin and REAL deerskin. if you go to Australia and buy them they are half as much.
Some boots which are made of China are cheap! Bootsso cheap in China ,I bought pairs before,they're made of real sheepskin also ,but I don't know why can they afford so cheap price...

Well personally I still like uggs but it is all a matter of opinion. If you dont like uggs maybe check out some fringe boots or moccasins, or even cowboy boots. There are so many alternatives.
