Why do people hate?

The reason most people hate is because they are jealous that you have something better than they do. So instead of working towards getting what you have they hate against you. Then they're are people who were raised to hate people. Sometimes some people hate others for no reason but just the fun of it.

Hate is a chemical response in your brain usually due to

a) Someone you trust does not meet your expectations (As in the saying: "There's a thin line between love and hate")

b) Someone hurt you or/and someone/something you care very much about

The line that defines hate is very hard to determine but the usual guideline is that if a person can go without facing the object of his/her aggressive feelings for over a year and still have the same feelings towards it/him/her when reaquainted it can be considered hate.

There are a number of reasons. A major reason is ignorance, where you don't know something and you act in fear towards what you don't understand.

It could be due to religious differences. Some people hate Jewish people or those of some other faith, but there is no need to. People can help you to learn a new language or some other thing you don't know.

Race is another reason that folks hate one another. They may be brainwashed to believe that one race is better than another race when in actuality we share a lot of the same anatomy and are of the same species. Who cares if you're white, Asian or African-American. It's just another stupid reason to hate each other. It doesn't make you bad if you disagree, but we are all the same to a degree! "We are the world, we are the children!" Newborn babies are born not knowing of racial issues, so they love and smile with all who they encounter, being trusting with each person.

Loosely related to race is nationality and skin color.

Perhaps someone stole something from on another... or they could just not like the others' personalities. People can hate others because they've done something to insult/upset them, or "ruin their life". Sometimes people don't like others because they're jealous or the person is flirting with their crush.

People might hate others for no reason. This is mean to do so, because if you bully someone for no reason it's unnecessary. Most bullies hurt others because of home problems or a bad past because they're afraid they'll be bullied. Don't be the bully.
