∙ 12y agoBecause it is part of an instinctual need and want to hunt. When Man Kind first came to be it (As an omnivorous species) needed to hunt for food. Modern humans find hunting an enjoyable sport because we evolved the instinct of hunting being thrilling or fun from our ancient counter parts (namely Homo-Habilis and Homo-Erectus) because they needed the meat for food and the skin and fur to keep them warm. Today it is illegal to mass-produce cloths that are made of actual animal fur to make sure we don't harm nature. It is however legal for an individual to hunt and make cloths from skin and fur if he/she chooses to live as such.
