Why does James Cameron's Avatar suck?

The only quality this movie brings is its technology in visuals. The story is nothing but cowboys and Indians all over again. Modern man steals and rapes from religious, primitive natives that worship the planet.

it all depends on personal opinion. some people like sci fi thriller some people dont.

also i heard my freind say she was upset it surpassed titanic in top gross.

another reason is that the native navi dont wear shirts and you can see plenty of blue boobs

Personally, I didn't like it because I watched it in 3D. Don't get me wrong I mean I liked the film but it would have been a lot better if I didn't watch it in 3D, that just gave me a headache for the rest of the night and it was just an awful experience. And most people these days (including myself) don't like sci fi movies. So it's really more about their own personal interest than the quality of the movie.

The personal preferences of people concerning things like movies or books is neither right or wrong. Personally I thought the movie was insipid and hated the songs.
